Officer Tim Williams
SRO for The Demopolis City School System
The School Resource Officer program was started in March of 2009. Demopolis Police Chief Tommie J. Reese appointed Officer Tim Williams to the Position as the first SRO for the Demopolis Police Department and the Demopolis City School System. Officer Williams is an eighteen year veteran of the Demopolis Police Department with twenty one years in law enforcement. He is a 1986 graduate of Demopolis High School. He is a graduate of Advanced SRO Training through the National Association of School Resource Officers.
Mission Statement: The mission of the School Resource Officer Program is to improve the quality of life within the school community and to secure a safe learning environment for our children, teachers, staff and parents.
